WAYS TO BELONG BEYOND THE SOUTH
This body of work explores the tension between the natural landscape and human intervention through a series of furniture and found object pieces. Rooted in a curiosity about how the vast terrain of Texas absorbs and resists industrial expansion, the project investigates moments where human activity collides with the land. I focus on how pattern, color, and surface treatment can visualize this negotiation—revealing how a landscape endures, transforms, and complies under pressure.
